Allyson King
Allyson grew up in the front row of a small-town church where she fell in love with the Word of God. Allyson’s attention to detail is pertinent in her role as the Core Ministries Director. She is well-versed in the Word and an incredible resource for a variety of things.
She is passionate about helping others grasp the wonder of God’s Word and the truth it contains. She is an NC State graduate. Her favorite southern food is Red Velvet Cake, and her favorite tradition is NCSU football and basketball games! She loves being a wife, mom and Bible teacher.
Angie Hathaway
Angie shines the bright light of Jesus in the corporate world as a franchise owner of twelve stores and lead ambassador for Sport Clips. As KGM’s Special Events Director, she applies her extensive corporate experience to our ministry events.
Lovingly known as ‘Mama Hath, her challenging childhood helps her relate to the messiness of the people God puts in her path. Angie has served in youth and college ministry for over 25 years. Armed with empathy and the truth of Jesus, she has become an expert in helping mothers connect to the hearts of their children.
Angie enjoys her husband and two adult daughters. She loves the beach, Pinterest, small towns, flea markets and fresh flowers.
Denita M. Thomas
Denita’s countenance radiates the joy of the Lord! She was introduced to the Lord by her sweet grandmother at a young age. She and her husband, Brian, serve together as co-founders of God 1st Bible Fellowship, a parachurch ministry.
She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in biology and worked in pharmaceuticals for twenty years. She now owns her own graphic design company.
Denita is a homeschooling mom of two. She loves coffee, cooking/baking, singing, and being giggly with her family.
Ellen Stevens
Ellen is a prayer warrior. She knows the Word of God and the power of praying God’s Word.
Ellen leads the KGM prayer team and is on mission every day as the wife of a missionary and through her job in healthcare.
Ellen grew up as a “church girl” who believed in keeping the rules, but Jesus pursued her heart and showed her that loving Him is simply about living in relationship with Him.
Melissa Bell
Melissa has a passion to reach women who would never step foot in a church. She’s not afraid of getting a little messy as she walks alongside women during life’s challenges. Her desire is for each woman to know that she is worthy, loved, and that nothing she can do will ever separate her from the love of Jesus.
Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, Melissa is drawn to the ocean and powered by the sun! She and her husband live in Apex, NC and is a homeschooling mom. She adores antiques and spends her downtime gardening.
Melissa has worked in ministry for over a decade. She is the co-host of The Sinner and the Saint podcast and serves as the Executive Director of KGM. Melissa enjoys empowering women to take a leap of faith…or happily gives them a little push!
