Prayer Made Simple: Fighting for Your Family and Friends in Prayer
Why I Wrote Prayer Made Simple
Years ago, when my daughter was diagnosed with a life-threatening autoimmune disease, I needed powerful, God-moving prayer.
Not knowing much about prayer, I intentionally connected with women who knew how to pray. These women seemed to know how to storm the gates of heaven when they prayed, and that is what I needed at this time.
Whenever I prayed with one of these women, I was immediately comforted and uplifted. I felt closer to God. And when they said, “Amen!”, I knew heaven had heard, and an answer was coming. And often it did!
What made praying with these women so different, is that they prayed the Scriptures. Psalm 19 tells us about the supernatural power of God’s Word. It refreshes our soul. It makes us wise. It brings joy to our hearts and radiance to our countenance. God’s Word warns us. When we keep His Word, we will be rewarded.
While I would not consider myself a prayer warrior, I have learned the basic principles of powerful prayer found in the Bible. As a result, I have seen God move mountains. BIG mountains. I have also seen Him do what I considered impossible, all in response to simple, yet specific prayer.
Learning to pray God’s Word back to Him powerful.

Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome,
and fight for your brothers, your sons and your daughters,
your wives and your homes.
