The Question that Changed an Innocent Life – and a Savior Who Rescued Her

by | Mar 24, 2025 | ONE WOMAN, Personal Stories

“What kind of party is this?”

It was an innocent enough question, but for Jean Marie Davis, that party launched her into the world of prostitution and sex trafficking that would nearly cost her everything – her dreams, her desire for love and acceptance, and even her life.

In her harrowing yet uplifting story, you will learn how Jean Marie survived and escaped a hopeless existence of fear and bondage to discover a living God who intervened in her life. He protected her from death and brought the right people into her life to
introduce her to the Savior, Jesus!

As she shares her story at One Woman, Jean Marie will also introduce you to an inspiring woman from the Bible whose experience paralleled with hers – inviting you to consider how God can work to bring new purpose and hope to your life.

About Jean Marie: She is an overcomer who emerged from almost 20 years of human trafficking to graduate from a program for abused women, earn an associate’s degree in biblical theology and become the executive director of a pregnancy resource center in Vermont. She is the mother of two children. She has been featured on Focus on the Family. Her story is about to become a major motion picture.
