“Sweet friendships refresh the soul.” Proverbs 27:9
By: Lisa Grimes, KGM Board Chair
Friendship is one of God’s greatest gifts, yet genuine, life-giving friendships seem
harder to find than ever. Our circles may be larger than they’ve ever been, but many
women still feel lonely.
What if our friendships were more shaped by Christ than by comparison, competition, or
convenience?
In a world that celebrates more, friendship reminds us that less is often more. We don’t
need dozens of close friends—we need a faithful few. Its quality over quantity, yet
busyness often keeps us from investing in the relationships that matter most.
God never intended for us to walk alone. He created us for fellowship—with Him and
with one another.
Join us for a special panel discussion as a group of longtime intergenerational friends
shares what it looks like to intentionally cultivate Christ-centered friendships. Together,
we’ll discuss how to:
- Build friendships that are rooted in Christ, not comparison.
- Encourage one another through prayer and God’s Word.
- Walk together through life’s ups and downs.
- Speak truth with love and grace.
- Build trust by protecting one another’s confidence.
- Open our hearts to friendship after betrayal.
- Laugh, celebrate, and enjoy the gift of friendship.
Whether you’re longing for deeper friendships, wondering how to cultivate them, or
hoping to become the kind of friend others can trust, you’ll leave encouraged to build
relationships that refresh your soul and strengthen your walk with Jesus.
Because the women we walk with shape the women we become.
