“Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.” Matthew 7:24-25
Whether we realize it or not, we are all building our lives on something – a philosophy or religion, a career, family and friends, a hobby or volunteer work, or maybe it’s a combination of these things. But when the fears of this world close in and challenging circumstances arise, will our chosen foundation remain solid and sustain us?
As the verse above from Matthew notes, lives built on foundations other than the rock of Jesus will not withstand all this world throws at us. Some of us may even intuitively know that principle, but in reality, how do we live that way?
Join us for Knowing God Ministries’ new series in 2022, “Rock-Solid in a Crumbling World,” where we will explore a number of highly relevant topics that impact your faith and foundation.
Throughout the series, we will offer multiple opportunities to connect with other women and study God’s Word via:
- a weekly online Bible study
- monthly luncheon messages
- and a women’s conference in March, (One Woman).
