How to Pray and Journal

by | Aug 6, 2020 | Prayer, Spiritual Growth

Are you intimidated by prayer?
Not sure where to start?
Or maybe you are completely distracted when trying to pray?

Most of us struggle with prayer. But the purpose of prayer is not about getting the words right or checking a box. Prayer is connecting with the living God of the universe. He has promised to hear us when we pray, and it is through prayer that His power is unleashed into our lives and those we love.  Every time we seek His presence through prayer, great things happen.

During this interactive workshop, I will share how the prayer journal, Growing Stronger Roots, is modeled after the prayers of the “greats” in the Bible. This prayer tool will help you learn how to:

  • Pray the simple, yet profound pattern of prayer found in Scripture
  • Record the valuable lessons you’re learning or meaningful Bible verses
  • Sense God’s direction in your everyday circumstances and know His will because you’ve written it down
  • Create a daily prayer calendar, making prayer uncomplicated and concise
  • Record your prayer requests so you can see when He answers

Our prayer journals can become a special, intimate tool where we are free to be vulnerable, yet encounter the power of God to face our challenges.

Don’t miss this life changing workshop!
